About Ann Alton
Ann Alton began her second career as a physical therapist after a Bachelor’s in psychology from Western Illinois University and 10 years working with individuals with developmental, emotional, and physical disabilities. She graduated from Bradley University in May of 2011 with a clinical doctorate in physical therapy. Her interests include treatment of chronic pain, balance, manual therapy, and neurological conditions. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and The Internal Association for the Study of Pain. In her free time, she enjoys Kuk Sool Won (martial arts), her husband and her pets, getting outside, and reading anything she can get her hands on.
